Here is page two of a five-page article by Harold Bosch entitled "Guardians Of The Rails." It was published originally in the October 1941 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 29. Partial Caption: "A Sperry detector car operating over the lines of the Canadian National Railways." Shown here is Sperry Rail Service car #127, a "Doodlebug" built by the St. Louis Car Company as Boston & Maine number "1151"/"151" in 1926, then sold to SRS and renumbered "127" in August of 1939.
